Candled!

Awesome, I wish I would of known better what I was looking for, or waited until day 6, that would be today. I will try again next weekend and then right before lock down. I kind of know what I am looking for now.

We've candles at day 4 and at day 15 but this is my first attempt at incubating and though they look like some of the images I googled I still don't feel like I'm fully aware of what I'm looking at or for... Anyone know of a website or book?

I have just candled again, day 11. Out of 24, I had 3 with no developement, and some that looked like they may of quit early. I left the ones I thought may of quit early in there, and will candle again at day 18, just before lockdown. I am very untrained in this, so I left any that had developement, even though I think some may of quit developeing.

Your fisrt few times will be hard. It gets easier as you learn. Knowing what day your on and what you see is very important.
Comparing the eggs to each other helps also. They should all look similar. Good luck with the hatch.

It also helps to use a REALLY bright LED light.
I just used a regular 'ol 60 watt bulb on my goose eggs. It was really tough to see the embryos.

If there is a next time, I am going to use a different light.
