is there an wasy way to candle an egg without making some sort of contraption? I just put 6 in incubator tonight. A few of these eggs have been waiting for about a week to go in and I would love to see if they are started yet. Please be a great answer on this one. This is so exciting to me. This is my first hatch and I have been reading on this for some time now and think it will go well but would really love to see if i got stuff forming already or not.

I just use my trusty surefire 6p flashlight that I keep in my pocket. I just put it against the top of each egg in the turner or tray when I am candling for clears. Can do about a dozen a minute so it's quick, easy, and no need to move the eggs thus no chance of dropping one on accident. I don't remove eggs till day 14 though to be sure.
