I just candled 38 eggs that had been shipped to me. 24 blk JerseyGiants (TExas) and 14 Blue Jersey's from Indiana. All but 4 were viable 4 quitters. I would like to think that has me sort out of the woods a little bit (if I keep the hatch temp and humidity correct. Is it most hatchers experience that if you can get them to 14 days you are past quitters and hatch rate is pretty good?
Just checking for a general sense I know it can still go bad, but the incubator has been on the money temp wise.
Thanks
My own mutts had a worse rate, but they are very young pullets and the roosters are young as well. I wasnt expecting much from them
