Candling Button Quail

[Fancy Feather Poultry]

I have button quail, and there shels are really dark
I bought a small L.E.D. light at a hardware store and thought it
would make it easier too candle but im not so shure, you can candle
these suckers at all.



Someone...enlighten me.

I just waited until day 16 and seen how many hatched. They are to dark and way to small I didn't even try to candle. Good Luck

I have some Japanese Quail eggs in my incubator right now. They are hard to candle, I just and any that don't hatch get tossed. I have opened some and they are bad, but I don't think they will explode, at least I'm not worried about that. The eggs also don't smell that bad.
