candling chicken eggs

I am new to this, too, and I would be concerned about them having been stored in the fridge, but you might still be okay. I candled eggs at day 8 on Sunday, and saw a mass in the middle but no veins. So for comparison I candled a non-fertilized egg in the fridge, and it was completely clear. You can't see the yolk, so I asked a friend on here and she's says as long as there is something that's a sign of life.

i heard once that yellow is bad and orenge and red is a good sign how thick am i we have lots of eggs in the fridge and i didnt even think to compare lol im just hoping that at least one of my 21 eggs does something. or ill be starting again lol

My light I use for candling is very bright, and I can see the yolk shadow in the egg (Before incubating)
If you saw mass, or cloudiness, your egg is fertile and growing.

And a reddish tint to the egg when

candling will normally mean they are fertile. But you only see it after the egg has been in the 'bator

for a few days.

Yes. Depending on the stage of incubation and the color of the shell, it's sometimes difficult to see the embryo even in the dark.
