Candling day 7

Candled my eggs today on day 7, I didn’t include the couple totally clear eggs as those were obvious, and I think I missed a couple others with normal looking veins. But a few are confusing me (2, 5 and 10 in particular) note that I have two pictures of 2. Both 2 and 5 have eyes, but I worry possible blood rings. Two was also a bit ‘sloshy’ if that makes sense. Does this mean they have recently passed? If this is the case and 2 is done please tell me 4 is ok!

3 is a blood ring, correct?

And 10… I didn’t get a great pic but it’s a bigger dark shape than any of the others?

What do you all think?

Wanted to add that I candled them pointy end down because these are shipped eggs, so I didn’t want to disturb the air sacks this early. My second time ordering shipped eggs from the same place and 4/6 hatched last time and air sacks were just fine so I’m doing the same thing..

3 & 4 look like blood rings to me. You could leave them in a bit longer just to be safe. If you are going to hatch eggs regularly, I highly recommend the magic fly candler on Amazon! I can see WAY easier into my eggs. This year on day 3 I was able to identify both clear eggs, and marked 3 w a ?, and on day 18 the 3 I marked w a ? were not fully developed. The candler on top of incubators seems to be harder for me to see with. If you are just candling on occasion, it would be ok!

Anything you have a question on, I would leave it in. Personally, I have found Day 5 to be the easiest day to candle…and then again before lockdown. Good luck! I hope you get a few to hatch!

So the second and third picture are the same egg, if I had just seen the line that is visible in the third pic I would’ve thought blood ring for sure. But the other side of that egg I can see the eye and all those veins??? It was a little “sloshy” though. So was it just a later loss?

How does the 5th picture look to you? I marked it with the number 4.

Thanks! Yeah I can’t figure out how to get the writing darker.

Ok, I wasn’t sure with it showing clear signs of development but also having that ring. And it being a bit sloshier. Had me hesitant!

I candled again to ease my mind and that blood ring looking line is gone on the two that I could also see eyes on! And I saw movement in them, so guess they are good!

The one that you said you saw a blood ring on the line has faded, but it still looks clear besides that! I have at least two other eggs that I think are clear and two more questionable ones. Has anyone hatched Swedish flower hens? The Swedish flower hen eggs I have I can’t tell if they are developing, they might be clear. My bielefelder eggs are easier to tell and they are very dark!

But I have at least 8 eggs that are developing very nicely!

Day 13 now. These are the ones I have questions about!

One of them I know is developing but I think has a detached air sack. The others I’m wondering if they are developing…. I did pull two of these out along with another that was 100% clear so I didn’t bother taking pics. The others I left in but am wondering about…
