I marked all my eggs under my broody but I still managed to accidentally take one that she's been sitting on for 5 days. It was out for about 11hours, but there was no blood ring when I candled it, just a very obvious vein. I immediately took it back to her.

I know it's a waiting game at this point but curious what you think the chances of survival are...
Also, how are you marking your eggs? My pencil marks are already rubbing off!

I used to use pencil, but for similar reasons (pencil rubs off against the broody's skin after a while!) I now date with sharpie on the fat end and put a tiny dot on the other. This way I can spot the egg more easily no matter the angle. Sharpie fades just a little but not enough to be a problem. I also don't use much in case it is not great for the eggs.

That egg might be okay. I've heard of outages for longer where most eggs made it.

I use pencil or sharpy in the incubator, but for under a hen, definitely a sharpy.

Yeah I've heard outages up to 18 hours haven't effected hatch rate too much. You probably put it on your counter, but even if you put it in the fridge, it still has a very good chance. Too low is always better than too high. The most it will likely do is delay it a day. I would put an extra special mark on that one just to know if it died or was delayed.
