hi first time incubating quail and I have a question. when candling (in my fifth day) how should i go about candling the eggs? take all out then candle or do one @ a time?

I do em' one at a time to minimise the time they are out of the bator....

Have you got a good candling lamp? with the 'speckled' eggs it can be difficult to see what's going on...

I've never set quail, but I find it easier to candle one at a time. I get a better look inside, they don't have enough time outside of the incu to cool off, and it's less awkward.
