Today is 7 days into the setting eggs, candled them out of 14 it appears I have only 2 showing anything I had 8 yard bird eggs only 1 showing anything I had 6 Welsumer bought off this site only one showing anything. Will candled again in about seven more days.

Also I have an egg with the air sac in the small end down, should I flip it upright they are all in an automatic turner.

I have been on the internet looking at candled eggs I am going to wait until dark and candle one more time. I think I might have more good ones.

I recheck my eggs I know for sure I have four developing. One was cracked I tossed it, one was completely clear I tossed it Eight are questionable . I will check them again in about four days. Out of 14 eggs as it stands now I only have four good ones. Two welsummer and two yard birds.

I sure hope this four do not quit on me.

Temp is OK Humidity is OK

I candled mine on day 7. Only 6 out of 24 have any development. I kept them all in just to be sure. I rechecked tonight (day12). Still 6 out of 24. I think I have cool spots in my homemade incubator, which made them not develop.

Day 14 I have 6 good eggs out of 14 for sure 1 questionable. Our of 14 eggs I have tossed 7. I will candle on day 18 when I take them out of the turner.

I have 5 Welsummer eggs and two yard birds "Mutts" The egg that is questionable is a Welsummer.

I am sure glad I didn't toss all of them on day 10.
