I had some eggs under my silkie a little while ago, and I as I could candle the white eggs very easily, I could not see through the green eggs at all.

I turned out none of the first batch were fertile, so I bought definitely fertile eggs that shes been sitting on for 5 days now. She also has 1 white eggs that Im hoping will turn out to be fertile.

I have not tried any candling with the new batch yet and I want to know how its going,but...HOW ELSE CAN I FIND OUT IF EGGS ARE FERTILE/ GROWING if I cannot see through them during candling?

I had one green egg in my last batch of 6. I could see through all of them but the green one. I could see that 4 were clear by day 10, one was developing, and I had no clue on greenie. So I left it in the bator, just in case. 21 days later, my mystery egg hatched! It stinks not being able to see in them, but if you can't, you can't! Good luck! And keep it in just in case!
