I have 10 guinea eggs that were set on April 15th. What should I see when I candle? Would I see veins like I do in chicken eggs? These were given to me and we are not sure on fertility which is why I am trying to hatch them. All I am seeing so far is a dark spot, almost like a blob in the eggs. I have an Egg-Lume candler which works well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

As far as I know you should see exactly what you'd see in a chicken egg, only smaller. A chick is a chick.

I just did my first try and I had 8 eggs given to me, they weren't sure of fertility only one had veins like a chicken egg. The rest stayed clear. Also you could def. see the air sac developing in the fertile on the others didn't have that. And it hatched today her she is with her phoenix friend

Yes. You with see veins just like your chick eggs but the guinea eggs are slower in developing then the chick eggs. I wait til about 2 weeks(about halfway) to candle my Guinea eggs.
