Their story...
Today is day 6 for my 14 serama eggs. In a Brinsea Mini Eco (yes, I somehow got them all to fit including 2 with detached air cells in carton cups!). I couldn't contain myself any longer so I candled today rather than tomorrow. This is actually my first time candling live eggs past day 1, so I'm not completely sure of myself yet. Pardon any n00b questions I may ask!
I have two thermometers in the bator. The mercury one that came with it is reading about 101-101.5. The extra round analog one I stuck in is reading about 99, so I'm hoping that somewhere between 99 and 101.5, they're ok. The analog hygrometer is staying between 35-40% with spikes up to (but no higher than) 50% when someone showers (they are in the bathroom..least drafty, least traffic, and no windows).
For the "diary's" sake (or advice).. I filled the water pots with clean round aquarium pebbles (the big almost-inch ones). I also dropped in a penny from the 60's to help fight bacteria..maybe. The pots don't even need water right now to maintain the 35-40 humidity I'm getting, but I figured even though the pot has a guard, the pebbles might be handy come lockdown when I will add a little water.
This is what I see so far in my eggs. The ones with pictures I could use your experienced opinions on. Thank you!
Egg 1: Clear

Egg 2: (teeny tiny egg!) Is developing!! But here's my n00b question.. All of the eggs that are developed are developed on one half of the egg while the other half is completely clear (not air cells..those are in tact where they should be). Is this normal? Maybe from being in an incubator where they have to lay in their sides rather than sitting up? Will they be ok, with turning and such?
Egg 3: (bullet shaped egg) Clear

Egg 4: Clear

Egg 5: I know this is a blood ring and this poor egg is dead.. but I just want to confirm with the eggsperts.. Blood ring? Safe to eggtopsy or toss it?
Egg 6: Developed and moving!

Egg 7: Not sure about this one.. Looks like possible development, but not as obvious as the others developed and saw no movement from the embryo/dark spot..it only floated around (not live movements) when the egg was jerked around.. I'll leave it be and watch it.
Egg 8: Developed and moving!

Egg 9: Developed and moving!

Egg 10: Developed and (sort of) moving!

Egg 11: One of the eggs in an egg cup because it arrived with a detached air cell. Air cell has reattached!!! And looks to be developing!

Egg 12: Also arrived with a detached air cell and was in a cup. This one I'm pulling out today. The air cell is still badly detached, and on too of that, the egg is highly porous and is clear inside. No use risking that one.
Egg 13: Advice on this one? The egg is a little porous (worth risking?) and there MAY be a small blood ring? It's no easier to see with the naked eye than it is in the picture. I can see an embryo/dark spot, but it doesn't move at all. Do you see a blood ring? And should I risk keeping on if it's slightly porous?
Egg 14: Developed and moving!

Thank you for reading! And for any advice/opinions on the (4) you can give!
