candling help

I thought i would try lohmann brown chicken eggs but when i candled on day 14 they werel black apart from air cell i found 5 that were infertile or blood rings i am using 9 led torch can anyone
advise please.

Your should be able to see the dark form of the chicken and vains . If not then their not fertile.

i can see veins in some but not sure about the others should i try and re candle them as i do want to kill chicks

I count see vains in some of my eggs at first, the vain came visable about day 10 to 14 if you can see they vains clearly by then keep an eye on them. Candle them each day they should grow if therr not taking up most of the egg by day 15 to 16 they their possibly infertile or died early . Good luck
