Candling ..I need all the information I can get

If I am going to hatch baby chicks I have got to figure out how to candle.Is it hard?

It is not really hard, but it took me a little while to get it. My light wasnt bright enough...The white eggs are REALLY easy, and when you see those little babies swimming around in there, you will be hooked...I want to candle every day!!!
