For now, you could get an old doghouse, attach a 1/2" HWC pen to it, and voila, temp coop. We have two "mini coops" like that, and one's a cute little shed we found. That's in addition to 2 regular/breeding coops. The only issue is if they start laying eggs in a doghouse, we use a litter picker-upper to get them. One, hubby made the front panel on hinges to swing up, and the other he made a door.
