candling is making me crazy

I have found that using a Capri Sun juice box works really well. It already has two holes in it for your fingers to carry that are perfect for placing the eggs is. I then place a mag light flash light underneath it and it works like a charm. Just plug up the one hole you are not using.....

Thanks for all your suggestions and comments,I really do feel better about it. I threw out 2 eggs that were completly clear, but at 12 days, there was still no odor.Friday the 20th is hatch day. Whatever happens , Im good with it. I just want to know that I did everything right , and within my power to have a succesful hatch.

Thanks for all these great posts I just candled (day 16) and can defiantly see something going on in some of my eggs... This is my first hatch and I have candled them before tonight but just was not clear on what I was seeing/looking for. I have 25 eggs in, 2 are defiantly clear... the others have what look like a good air cell, veins and a black blob (moving in some of them). I am hopeful to get at least a couple hatched out of this! My hatch date is this Saturday.

Home Depot has a pack that has three LED flash lights with batteries for all three included for $9.99.
I didn't need to candle today but I had to try it one cuckcoo marans egg and I could even see the veins clearly.
I was impressed!
