Candling quail eggs (Bob White)

I posted in the quail section but nobody responded so hoping someone will here. My eggs have been in the incubator since the evening of the 17th, when should I candle, and what specifically am I looking for?

well thanks away, I went ahead and candled to the best of my ability, and all but one egg out 30 had red veins running through them and I gather that is a good thing.
