I am new to raising poultry I have 12 couoturnix quail eggs they have been incubating for 6 days. When I got them I let them reach room temperature before putting them in the incubator and I waited until today to candle them.

100°F
Auto Turning Incubator

I have no idea what they're supposed to look like the pictures I searched for weren't very helpful.

By day 6 you should be seeing veins, possibly a heart beat. I see some development in all of those eggs, but several of them look like they've already quit.

4, 8, 9, & 10 look like quitters to me. The others are hard to tell. I could be wrong on the ones I think are quitters. Pictures aren't always good enough to really tell.
