I candled last night, but my son was NAGGING me the WHOLE TIME to see...So, I didn't get a chance to make my list/mark my eggs, etc.
I need to know when I can candle again? Some looked really spotty (like the pics of eggs w/ bacteria) and I dont want to leave them in there longer than I have to if they are bad!!

I would give it a day and candle them quickly. Don't candle to often. I have found that it is best for me to candle on day 7 and day 16.

I recommend candling on day 6, 14 and 18... but if you don't have a high powered light, skip day 6 and just wait. As for speckles, that's the shell. Some are more porous than others. Blood rings and stink = bacteria. Often porous shells can increase the incidence of dead chicks and bacteria getting in. If there's no smell, no worries.

Ok...That makes me feel better! Some of them were REALLY porous.
