Im gonna candle again tonight. I cant wait one more week!!!!!!!! Im so excited!! It happens so fast, 3 weeks for them is 9 months for us...... The time is so short but at the same time it is sooooo long.

I candled just a few minutes ago, and it looks great!!! I saw veins, movement, and the air pocket was larger. I cant wait, but it will also be here before I know it.

As a side note, I am getting low on feed, and cant feed the (almost) 7 week old chicks kitchen scraps until I get them on the ground in with the older chickens. So I was going to put them in today..... I brought one chick into the coop, was holding him. The older rooster backed away while mother hen (the one with the egg) came over immediately, and started to peck at the chick. It was then that I realized that maybe I should wait at least until the egg hatched. I have 10 chicks plus the 2 older chickens. I dont want any fighting and such while Im waiting for the egg to hatch, or it might meet the same fate as the other egg!!!!!!
