I normally don't candle eggs until like a week but, I set these eggs on Friday night and and candled them today out of boredom. I had problems with this first batch and worries about viability from the get go so I won't be surprised if things aren't looking good. Does this look normal for like 48 hrs?

From what I gather you don't see anything until at least 72 hours (3 days). I would check tomorrow for veining. If you're lucky you may be able to see a little veining in a tiny spot but you probably won't see anything yet.
