I just candled and I see movement on 11 out of 12 !!! The 12th one didn't look fertile, totally clear and smaller than the others.
Not bad for eggs that where shipped, huh?

This is my first hatch and I'm using a homemade bator and turner.

The way the swing back and forth about 3/4" still freaks me out a little. (I only candle with the large end up and light on top)

I'm a newbie, but it seems the air cell may be small, RH is at 50%

If they are moving at day 10, what are the chances of them all hatching?

Well, that sounds very promising! I dont know about the chances; it depends so much on your bator control the rest of the way. Humidity at 50% is perfect right now and you will raise it to 65-70% on the 18th day when you quit turning them. Keep us posted on the hatch. What breeds were these?

It depends on how the last 11 days goes. Just do as speckledhen says and you should do fine. I've lost a hatch once because of an incubator blooper the day before hatch and only got 25% to survive... and 5 were roos!!! Good luck, keep us posted.

The climate stays pretty tight, just a small change in RH from day to night.

These are Silkies, this will be the first time I see one in person.

How exciting! I love silkies
