When you candle, would it be best to open the bator take all the eggs out, candle each one, and then open the bator and put them all back in? Or would it be better to open, take one out, open put one back take one more, etc?

In a smaller incubator 50 eggs or less---I open----candle----then close, But I do not stand there watching the heart beat, etc. I candle 50 eggs in about 4 minutes. If you want to take your time 2 or 3 minutes a piece-----I would pull them out one or two at a time

This is my first time incubating so I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for so I think it might take me a little bit on each egg to look at it while being careful not to drop it. I guess I'll know better once I've actually done it and get an idea what works best for me

Get you a good chart to compare to---on line. Some candle about every day----some every 2 or 3 days---some never candle. I candle on day 12 and day 18----if you candle to early---being new at it you will probably put all of them back in the incubator because you do not know. Pull you 2 or 3 out---starting on one side----candle them---take your time---then put them back in if you feel they are good, then get you a few more out. Good Luck

I plan on candling on day 12 and 18 because I won't have white eggs so no point in doing it early
