Candling

I have read the stickys on candling and searched the site. I have shipped eggs that are on day 7 now and they are not clear, but I do not see any veining in them or movement. If I put the mini mag on the bottom of the egg all I can see is a big dark blob at the top of the egg. I have not done chicken eggs before only quail and I did not candle them. I see no blood ring either so I am really confused. I have a still air. Temp. is 102 and humidity is at 33. I turn them 3 times a day. Thanks

I usually don't candle 'till day 10. Veining is usually pretty obvious by then - even with my little penlight!

Thank You for the reply. My daughter and I got out the big mag and we then could see veining.
