I have 12 ring neck pheasant eggs on day 13, I have a very bright flashlight but cant penetrate the shell to see if anything is happening. What do you use to see what's going on inside the egg? Thanks

I use a mag light and do it at night in the dark so the only light is the flashlight, seems to work better

I should rephrase my post to say that the flashlight is bigger than the egg, and I get alot of bright light around the egg and not through it. I'm going to try a toilet paper roll and something on top of it to narrow down the beam the flashlight is throwing. Maybe this will work better.

Take a cardboard box and cut a small, round hole in the side of it so that your egg will rest on top of the hole. Then shine the light on the egg from up inside of the box.
