Candling

I have an egg on day 9 that doesn't look fertile OR infertile. I dont see any veins but there is a dark mass on one side. I think the air sack is growing... Any ideas?

Keep it in the bator till day 18. At that stage, it is pretty obvious to tell if its developing! You should see no blank spaces. I wouldnt say you candle to find eggs that arent fertile......... some fertile eggs dont develop or hatch either........

Air sacks are see through. Dark mass is a good sign. Sometimes veins are hard to see so give it another few days and look again. hope there is a chickie growing for ya.
