candy deviled eggs

My sister made these for me to sell at the chicken swap this weekend. They look just like real deviled eggs. They are made of white chocolate. Too cute! Each one is wrapped in plastic wrap is why they look shiny.

Might be a dumb question, but what did she use for the mold?

(Just the egg tray that's holding them?)

She just used one half of a plastic easter egg as the mold. Spray is first with no stick spray, melted white chocolate , put a couple of drops of yellow food color for the yellow part. Red sugar sprinkles for the paprika look! We tried to serve them at lunch for Mother's Day yesterday and everyone thought they were real until they tried to pick them up with a fork!

She is alway's coming up with different and unusual idea's!

Sounded super easy. If you are really talented (not me) you could pipe the yellow on with a cake decorator thingy to make it look really professional!
