Tala saw her opening! She jumped on the cougars back, landing a hard bite to the back of the neck! The cougar roared in pain and fled! Tala fell to the ground in pain…

Tala awoke with a start! She growled and fell back down…

She stood there with her huge ears facing sideways, seeing the wolf was better she ran back to her den

Tala didn't understand why the fox had left. It made her said to be alone, but she headed on her way.
