“o, I'm Tala, I was the one howling on the other side of the valley.” she said “I'm staying in a den with my friend.” “What's your name?”

"Im dust" she lowered her hackles "Whos your friend?"

“his name is Coal, he's a fox.” she said. The minute she said his name she wanted to return to him. “do you have a pack?” she asked

"No, they said i was 'too jackal' like, im too small appearntly, and didnt howl enough"

“that's horrible.” she said disgusted. “do you want to join me and Coal?” she asked. “I know how sucky it is to be alone.”
