The aviary was a lovely prison. Made of perfectly clear glass that made it seem like they were outside, huge, with high walls and a domed ceiling. It was filled with huge trees that held nests for all the "birds" that lived there. Their food was cooked by their master's chefs and the chains they wore were of strong gold. It was mockery.
