Canning Pears/Easy tip

We used our apple slicer/core to slice our pears before we canned them. Saved LOTS of time too. Thought I would pass this on if anyone had not thought to use it !!!!

I use my Veg-a-Matic to slice up stuff when I can it. It does make it easier to use a good tool!

Another great tip....thanks. We are newbies to canning, really.....we've froze a lot of stuff in the past but are trying canning this year...
