Thanks to all who've responded - this is cool!

For those who commented about our roo, well we could find no ideal takers but the feed store in Half Moon Bay said they will take him. I said goodbye this morning before going to work. My wife and son are taking him over this afternoon. I hope he doesn't turn into dinner anytime soon.

To think we'd be sad about a chicken...

from the East Bay. Glad you found us. Chickens are getting more popular all over. Sadly, roosters don't seem to be as welcome.
