Can't catch a run away rabbit

One of my pet rabbits got out of the hutch and is loose. My momand me tried to catch it. we used a apple,but it will only get so close to us. Does anybody have ideas? Cinnamon has stayed close to the house for two days now. Mom says that she will keep warm tunneling in the leaves.

set up a blockade of fencing or somthing similar in a cone type pattern-large entrance that closes to a point and chase it into that.

Get a live trap.

The small ones aren't terribly expensive.

I think if you could find where it sleeps, that you'd have better luck catching it at night in the dark.

You could also try catching it with a net (like a fish handling net).

try to watch and see where it beds down tonight then thrown a towel or blanket over her and scoop her up leaves and all - pillow case style

corraling is the best method to catching a run away rabbit.
I use the have 12 rabbits in the yard just as pets.I would corral them in a corner for meds or somin.

I would try the corral. I was lucky when I had rabbits. Our big dog sat on one (didn't hurt it) and the other we cornered. Good luck!
