automatic turner
decent humidity
auto temp control?
window/visibility
cost

I love my Brinsea octogon eco20 with turner. It cost around 180.00 But that new Hovabator 1588 with digital thermostat also looks very promising. I have no experience with the model, it isn't available yet.

x 2...it's the only thing I hatch my quail from now....the LGs are ok with chicken eggs, but really stink with game birds, they're just not accurate enough to get a good hatch. they may cost a little more, but to have consistent 90% or greater hatch rates, it's well worth it, IMO.

My last hatch with my Brinsea 40 DX was coturnix. They were my eggs.I put 70 eggs in the bator thinking I would get around 40 biddies. Wrong, I got 61 mind you they were my eggs. But the bottom line is they keep great temps & humidity levels. The temps seem to never fluctuate.

Can't go wrong with the new Hova-Bator 1588 with the digital control center with digital thermometer and hydrometer. I have 2 of them. GQF Mfg. has them in stock. If you go to the website the information is still for the old model, but they are shipping the new ones right now. I have 2 of them to prove it.
