Hey everybody! My family and I just got some new chicks and ducklings a few days ago from tractor supply and we are having trouble figuring out one of the chicks breeds. We aren't new to poultry raising and such, however we never realised how many breeds their were! We are all very excited to watch the breeds we got grow up.
We got two black asian (or asian black? something of that sort), two turkens, two silkie bantams, four pekin ducklings and this oddball!
Any idea what he/she could be?
The tops of its head and back are black and around it's body and head it's like a circle of red.
Also is it OK to ask what color this silkie is here?
I'm not sure if you can tell because of lighting, but it is a very pale grey with brown spots.
