I bought 3 chicks three weeks old on March 31st and then got another one that is 3 weeks older then them, so I have four total, the oldest is a Dominique which is very shy but nice so we think its definitely a hen. We have a BR who we also think is a hen but its the nicest one out of all of mine. We have an Ameraucana who is very fast and is really hard to catch who we think is a roo. And lastly we have a New Hamshire who we aslo think is a roo. None of them are crowing yet. The 3 are 24 weeks i think and the Dominique is 27 weeks. No eggs either. Heres some pictures: (BTW I dont keep my chickens on my screened in porch I just took my pictures there) :)

! I am no good at gender ID on birds so I will defer. I suggest posting this over on the Chicken Breeds, What Breed or Gender is This forum. You will get some help there I'm sure. Whatever they are I hope they are what you wanted!

Okay Thanks! I want hens so If they are roos I'll have to get rid of them :(

I know there's a way but I don't know how as I've never done it. Sorry! Someone will read this before long and come to the rescue. I'm sure there is more to it than simple cut and paste. Or, you could just repost the same info over there. Good luck.

Ok here is my best guess, the first barred rock looks like a roo,, the new hampshire looks like a roo, and the rest look like hens... Only time will truely tell. Some hens lay later than others but maybe you will get an egg soon and start narrowing them down...

Really? I'll add another one of the Barred Rock cuz it was stretching in that picture :) (the second one is a Dominique they just look alike)
