They had all kinds. Barred Rock, Rhode Island Reds, White Leghorns, Golden Comets, black Golden Comets, Turkens, Araucanas, Silkies and Barnyard Specials.

Do your neighbors have buff orpingtons or wyandottes? You didn’t list them but he does look a lot like an Orpington/wyandotte cross.
