can't figure this out... help

These were supposed to be Dominique, but at the same time I got some cuckoo Marans, black jersey giants, and Black Australorp. We've piety much eliminated the australorps and jersey giant. They look like pea comb instead of rose, and the legs look more like white than yellow. Any opinions?

Hopefully these will upload..First one what we think are Dominique, second maran mixed with Dominique, third Maran?

they all look either hatchery quality marans or mixed. you have two roosters, the darker one is not pure for barring so he has to be a mix. if they came from a backyard would be best to assume they are all marans mixes.

as far as I can tell- all of them have single combs. no rose or pea combs.

Came from hatchery, but don't know which one as I got them at the feed store in Kiowa, CO. I didn't think they looked anything like the Dominique we had a couple of years ago. Yeah, I think that both of the lighter colored birds are going to be roosters, ugh. wish I new which hatchery it was to avoid their Dominiques and Maran. We had to scramble for chicks this year since our order from Cackle got wiped out by an unexpected large storm.

Thanks for your opinion...that was basically my conclusion, too. I can't tell the maran from the dominique in the order. They ALL look more like maran to me.

No problem. All you need is to wait for the eggs... hope they put out fairly decently colored eggs.
