I have eggs that are gonna be going into the bator later this evening. I figured I would candle them before I put them in. 2 of the eggs have spots in them that when you move the egg, the spot moves within the egg. I haven't seen this before. I have tried to do a search for it and I couldn't find anything. Can someone tell me what it is? I don't have pics, sorry. This spot clearly moves in there when you move the egg.

Yeah, I don't think it does either, unless it's a dead embryo, which would also look like a spot at a few days along. You can always set them and candle after 7-10 days, if there aren't any veins, they probably aren't any good.

I tried to find pics of what it would look like still in the shell but found only pics of what a "meat spot" looks like cracked open.

I would "guess" that if you WAIT about 10 days ...........and then candle the eggs (gently) again, you will have more to reason with. It's very early now.

just my 2 pesos worth,..........GOOD LUCK to you!

i've seen a few spots that moved, and it was actually air bubbles in a soupy mess....
