Can't find my ducks!!!

No, I never found them, we looked all overy our propèrty yesterday. Also, in the middle of the day yesterday something snatched 1 of my silkie chicks right out of our fully enclosed run. Pulled him right through the wire. I saw the spot where he was pulled through cause there was down stuck to the wire.

We did find a big burrow beside our house that something had been living in. And it was right close to where the ducks had taken to sleeping at night. We coverd both ends of the burrow with big heavy chunks of broken up cement so whatever it was won't be living there anymore.

*UPDATE* We found 1 of our Rouens. We had originally thought it was a hen but now we're thinking she is a he in his eclipse phase. I went out to feed the chickens and saw him running around with the bantams we have. He sticks pretty close to them. Now I'm hoping that the hen that actually is a hen will come back. I'm really hoping she's on a nest somewhere and will come back with some ducklings. I'm seriously doubting that though since I would think the drake would want to stay close to the hen on her nest instead of following the bantams around if that were the case. What do you think? I'd it possible that she's still around? I know you said the hidden nest scenario is highly unlikely but we've never found any feathers or a carcass or anything that would suggest she had been eaten. Wouldn't the drake rather be with the hen or would he leave her be while she's sitting on a nest?
