Can't find search within thread or jump to top

The "Search this thread only" feature does not appear to work on cell phones or ipads.

I didn't realise this, thank you for pointing this out. What do I need to click on to search an individual thread please?

On a computer you just "hover" over the search button. Do not click the search button. It does not work on ipads.

Yep, that's what mine looks like.

That helped for my laptop also. I had it zoomed to 115%....set it back to 100% and the search button appeared normal with the full options.
