cant find

dang, i am looking all over near where i live for some Cornish Rocks for meat birds. No one near me has any even the feed stores... They all have sussex and cross mixed chickens.

Right now i have 2 sussex roosters that i will make into meat birds but still kinda hard to find Cornish Rocks the ones i want

...

Only way i see i might have to order online maybe but i really dont want to.


will the 2 sussex make ok meat birds for now?

Where do you live? Those roosters will work for two meals... than after that what are you going to do?

well not sure yet lol, i was thinking of getting more sussex i guess. I only know 4 people that kinda live near me that i can get these birds from. I really dont want to drive more than 30 mins away :\\... i live in Warner Robins, GA.

I am doing meat birds for the first time in my life so there is a chance i wont be doing this to offten just maybe a once in a while thing to do if you know what i mean. Just would of been nice to try some Cornish Rocks out at least one time.

In two weeks im going on a trip for a month maybe not sure yet, so the two sussex i have will be done before i go on my trip. And i wont get no more till im back.

Well any hatchery will ship you day old chicks but I'm not sure of any in Georgia.

If shipping Cornish x Rocks chicks to your post office is something you want to do we sell them for $0.55 / chick and would be able to ship them to your location. The next shipping is for the first week in May if your interested.

In your case, shipping probably is the way to go unless you have a TSC close by? They carry the cornish x rocks around this time as well....

Looks like you have one of the Tractor Supplies in your back yard... Most of these stores have what your looking for but call in advance to save on a trip if they ran out.
