No but try putting paper towels and sponges and see if that works.

I tried that, but the humidity went to around 45% and then dropped again. Is the hygrometer wrong?

I don't know anything about hygrometers but the type of incubator may be the problem. Are you using a gqf cabinet incubator?

I'm using a forced air styrofoam incubator that's covered with a blanket
