Can't get my KBs down!! Help!!

I am trying to change my avatar and my image is not going to be visible if I have to get it down to 15KB. I have it below 100 X 100 Pix, but it is at 26 KB. How do I get the KBs down?

CALLING THE AVATAR POLICE!!!! I have no idea - I have so much trouble with avatar's.....

change the size when you save the picture to Uploads. choose the avatar size.
then save it back to your computer.
lastly, upload to the avatar page.

voila!

you cannot just resize it and then upload to avatars. that might be the wrong turn you took...faith i have, 'all the answers' i'll leave to others.

That is what I am going to have to do. I can't figure it out. I did it somehow on my other avatar. Must have been luck with that one.

So, who wants my picture to fix for me?

okay, got it to the right size. sent it to you via email. follow the directions and you should be able to do it.

cropping it before resize saves ALOT on the "kb"
