Cant see through eggs

Im incubating eggs and its the 3rd day and on some eggs light doesn't go through.What does this mean?

Could mean the egg has a thick shell, which can make it hard, if not impossible to shine a light through. Could mean that something isn't right inside the egg to.

I have trouble with my darker eggs. If you don’t already, go to a pitch black room and make sure no light peeks around the egg at all when you candle. This is the only way we seen anything at all in ours. Best of luck to you

i have some black copper maran eggs incubating. They are really dark.
