Can't upload an avatar? Can anybody help me please

Everytime I try to upload an avatar it says too many pixels or file size too big??? It doesn't matter which picture I choose. They are all from my digital camera?

Mine is doing the same thing...no matter how tiny I make them, it says they are too big. Ugh!

will since the from your camera i would resize them useing paint , then try to upload.

Here's a website that will help you resize. Another BYCer posted it a couple years ago and it helped me.

Some pictures are more challenging then others. Good luck

I had the same issue. Below is how I uploaded my avatar:

1. Go to "uploads", located on top menu bar.
2. Browse and select an image on your computer.
3. Put a check in the box and select "100x75 (Avatar)", then press "Submit".
4. Right click the uploaded image and select "Save Picture As" to your computer.
5. Go to "Profile", located on top menu bar.
6. Select "Personality", located on left menu bar.
7. Upload saved image.
