Can't Wait for the FAIR!!! ****

Our county fair is in two weeks. They always have cool chickens for show and for sale.

Last year, I looked at all the chickies and livestock and whined about wanted chickens so bad, and DH reminded me we weren't ready.

Oh but NOW!!!! HA, I am ready. I hope to find a couple of breeds I do not have for sale....I hope I can find....

a frizzle (of any kind)
an Americauna or Aracauna
any kind of Silkies

I'm getting excited...... !

Cleveland County, I live near Shelby NC, I really want to come to Mt. Airy (Mt. Pilot). Never been there before.

Has anyone been to the Deefireld , NH Fairgrounds for the Poultry Fancier's Annual show? This year it is on Sunday Oct 14... I'm thinking if the chicks I ordered don't all make it, I can probably pick up a couple more. I've never had chickens and have been reading up on every topic on this site!
