Can't wait to candle!! What Day???

My eggs went in Sun morning, how long before I should/can candle? The waiting is driving me nuts already! I don't know how I will make it till they hatch.

I usually candle at day 7 and then day 14 or 15. My hens lay eggs that are quite dark, so candeling before day 7 is tough.

If you're lucky and have white eggs you might see something on day 4 or 5. But if you have darker eggs it is better to wait until day 7 or 8 then again on day 14 and 18. I see you have RIR. I think I would wait unless you aren't going to get disappointed if you can see any development. Good luck.

My eggs went in Sunday also, that seemed to stabilize the temp and the humidity is doing alright. I think I will candle this Sunday coming. I set 6 Welsummer Eggs from vicki2x2 and 8 of my yard birds.

well i candeled this time at day 4 and could see little vains but it is way cool if you wait until 7 and see the little duck floting and moving around pluse you can see the eye..
