Hello, I am trying to gather all the information I can before I become a duck owner I have read starts guide to ducks and refer back to whenever I think.of a question and I have been constantly reading stuff online and visiting forums.like this one I just have a few questions. First if anybody doesn't.mind.posting pictures of Thier duck house I would appreciate it. Also I am wondering if it is safe to keep ten ducks a pair of geese and a very friendly bunny all together, according to what I have read for Thier enclosed house ducks need 3 sqft and geese need 6 sqft each and then assuming a little but more guns small bunny will they all be comfy when full grown.in a a 7x7 house or should you always go on the bigger side? Also I have heard it is done to have ducks with a rabbit but I never asked if geese beinga larger Bird if they would be ok with a bunny that in mind I do plan on introducing the young birds to the bunny early on thinking they will be friends from the start. Also I live up in northern BC where in the winter it can get as cold as -40 sometimes colder with windchill everyone I have asked said Thur house doesn't have to be insulated or have any source of heat, just keep water in supply some have even said that Thur ducks go outside in the winter, I understand they have wonderful feathers and to think.of it as your down blanket but better but I don't know where these people.live and if they get as cold as we do up here. I think that is all the questions I have for now. All input and info would be appreciated. Thank you

Sorry about typos i only have my cell phone for internet access at the moment and after writing a few lines i cant see what i am writing anymore and its very difficult to scroll through and correct everything

Here's a great thread for duck houses https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/55358/duck-houses. I don't have any pics of mine. The stickies is full of information also if you want to check there. Not sure about the bunny but lots of people have had success housing ducks and geese together but then others havent. It depends on the ducks and geese themselves. Since it gets so cold I'd say go bigger because some wintery days you might want to just keep them in their house. It gets -30° here as the lowest so we have about the same type of winters so I'll just tell you what I do. I always give a heat lamp during the winter, all winter long unless its above freezing. People tell me they are fine without it but I know I would be cold and it doesn't hurt them to have it. I don't provide their pool during winter so every few days I bring out a medium size storage container with warm water for them to swim. Its perfect size for a duck but they cram 2 or 3 of themselves in their lol. I find their feathers get scraggly looking if I don't.

Oops hit send to quick. Because I don't provide a pool just something every few days I make sure to keep a 1 gallon bucket out there so they can clean out their nostrils which is a must for ducks. I also cut up veggies and put them in warm water and give it to the ducks, sorta like a soup. My ducks love to be outside in the winter but if its really cold or storming I keep them in.
