Cantelope

[our 5 chickie babies]

Hello ALL!! I know it is ok to eat the watermelon and give the flesh and rind to the babies and they eat down to the rind and leave it.But what about the cantelope is it ok to do the same with that.I have looked and did'nt see anything about it really.I have about 15 pieces that we just cut the flesh off of but I don't want to hurt the birds.

My girls love it and they do eat it right down to the rid ,not one bit of waist! Mine are getting some this morning! YUMMY!

Hello Thanks again for all the input.I don't know what to do I have never had so many people to answer before.We really do appreciate it.Since we are newbies We don't want to do anything to hurt our babies.They love watermellon but I wasn't sure about the cantelope.now since your answers I have tried it.They wern't real sure of it at first but now they jump right on it.Of course their favorite treat of all is mealworms I get attacked when I go in with those.LOL
